Theme: Light and shadows

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know its been a while and I apologise for not being around. A lot has happened in the past few months. All my camera gear was stolen a few weeks back; cameras, lenses, flashes, memory cards, the lot. Major OUCH!!!! Anyway it seems this situation pushed me to get an upgrade from my previous 400D to a 5D.

Anyway when I had no camera and I had weddings to do, Jide gave me his 5D for  the event, for which I thank him from the bottom of my heart. This is one of the shots from the wedding. I took this one while the bride was relaxing and getting made up for her big day. My theme for the next few days will delve into techniques that I have been learning over the past few months dealing light and shadows. Some people might not like this type of photography (that is ok, each to their own). I personally love it.
