Anguish
More experimentation. This is more on the grudgey side of things. Decided to play around with borders and textures

Besides being as wonderful shot, I love the processing and the framing with the shot bleeding into the frame.
Well done.
Ditto what Michael said! The "slough of despond" also comes to mind, Asiko, because a slough is a place of deep mud/mire and that's exactly what this looks like. Tar pits also come to mind!
Very evocative of despair and anguish!
nice representation! he really looks in anguish!
I totally loooove this. I'd also like to see it in a more contemporary setting and composition.
Like this one very much too ! Bravo !
your self portraits keep getting better, you seem to be able to capture an emotion. beautiful work Ade. mal
I like this a lot. It looks like it has been thrown away and left in the gutter - distressed comes to mind, both for the emotion and the state of the image. Very imaginative.

hmmmmm asiko is back
I really like this, but for me personally I think it would be equally powerful without the overlay texture.
like the darkness and murky feel a lot...good experimentation...
definitely works for me
very vety nicely done, ME LIKEY!!
love the borders!
I missed this...best shot for a while.
We're watching your back, you'll be fine. You have no idea how much you're covered in prayer.
